Your career. Where you want, how you want.
Whether you are a full-time or part-time professional, a high school graduate, a school graduate or a retiree, at IU we have designed the perfect study programme that really has something for everyone. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. All that matters is that you want to learn for life and kickstart your career. The courses offered at IU provide education for everyone. And by everyone, we really do mean everyone.
Your everyday life, your path
Do you take care of your children and would like to study again before going back to work? You don't have a high school diploma, but you've worked your way up and now you want to get another degree? You are already working and full-time studies would not fit into your daily routine, but you would like to have more responsibility and a better salary in the future? For all three situations, IU will fit like a glove!
Make it flexible
“Flexible studies” is not just an empty phrase for us, we have made it our goal to pick up all people at their respective ACTUAL state. In their everyday life. With their individual processes. At their home. Whether online or on site on campus – we will pick you up. And bring you to IU.

Studying without A-levels
You can also kickstart your future successfully without A-levels. Here, you can show previous work experience, state-recognised further education or take a special exam. You can find out more at our Student Advisory Service or here.
Studying with children
Can you combine your studies with parenthood? We make it possible. Taking care of children or other relatives doesn’t have to stop you from continuing your education. We will support you as best we can. You can find more information here or you can contact our Student Advisory Service and discuss individually how your studies and your family can coexist.
Studying with a disability
Physical or health impairments may make studying difficult, but by no means impossible. We will do everything we can to support you in your studies and create conditions at IU International University of Applied Sciences that are designed with everyone in mind. You can find more information on this topic here or simply make an appointment with our Student Advisory Service to receive personal counselling.
