Content of the dual study program Architektur
On the dual study course in architecture, you will acquire practical knowledge and skills in various areas over seven semesters. This includes general principles as well as designing and working on projects in different areas such as housing, public buildings and urban planning. You will also learn presentation techniques and design methods, including model making and computer-aided design. Other key areas include cost and schedule planning, building law, construction techniques such as timber construction and sustainable building, as well as urban and landscape planning. Compulsory elective areas offer the opportunity to deepen specific knowledge, for example in the areas of "Architecture of the City", "Building Construction" or "Representation and Design".
