As a civil engineer, you will not only work in the construction of buildings, roads and tunnels, but also in the fields of transport, energy and property management. The dual study programme in civil engineering prepares you for this:

What awaits you in the dual study programme Bauingenieurwesen
When you study Civil Engineering dual degree programme, you gain a sound basic knowledge of the construction of buildings and the procurement, development and supply of usable space.
You will receive comprehensive and particularly practice-oriented foundation training in the field of civil engineering.
In addition, there are direct references to the neighbouring disciplines of architecture, real estate management and industrial engineering.You will be able to work independently on special tasks, identify technical problems and help find solutions.
Depending on your chosen specialisation, you will become an expert in structural engineering, construction management, sustainable construction, building with existing structures, and real estate management.
You will gain additional business knowledge and essential soft skills.
Please note: We are currently working on a new curriculum to make the degree programme even more modern and future-oriented. You will be able to study this degree programme with a revised curriculum from October 2025.
