If you are interested in food and are aiming for a management position in the catering, hotel or food industry, the dual study program in Food Management is ideal for you. Here you will deal with various aspects: from gastronomic basics such as product and beverage science, nutritional science and quality and service management to business management content such as cost and performance accounting, consumer behavior and marketing, as well as current trends in gastronomy and culinary arts. The study model is dual, so you will attend lectures on campus, work actively in small groups and apply what you have learned in projects and with your practice partner.

Planning budgets and menus, managing employees and monitoring quality and hygiene standards are just some of the diverse tasks for which the dual study program in Food Management will prepare you. You will acquire both general knowledge and in-depth insights into the hotel and catering industry. You will learn the business fundamentals of gastronomy and how to put them into practice in the company. In addition, you will acquire methodological skills that will enable you to make independent organizational, planning and management decisions.
