The modern, digital working world places high demands on employees and companies. These require innovative strategic approaches in human resource management. There is a demand for skilled professionals and leaders who know how to find talent and retain them within a company for the long term.

How your studies get you ahead:  

• You will gain solid business administration knowledge and build key HR-specific expertise.  

• You will acquire cross-disciplinary social and methodological skills – a solid foundation for future leadership positions in the HR sector.  

• After graduation, you will be able to support new developments in management, such as flexible organisational structures and work processes, in a targeted manner as a human resource manager. To do this, you will design progressive concepts to systematically address trends in the HR sector.  

• With completed vocational training as "Industriekaufmann:frau" (Industrial Clerk), "Bankkaufmann:frau" (Bank Clerk), or "Kaufmann:frau für Büromanagement" (Management Assistant for Office Management), you benefit both time-wise and financially during your studies: You save at least 50 ECTS credits. 

The bachelor's programme prepares you to be a professional with personnel-oriented responsibility. You will acquire the necessary economic fundamentals in accounting and financial reporting, cost and performance accounting, or personnel and company management as well as agile project management. Additionally, you will be trained in areas such as collaborative working, statistics, labour law, or personnel marketing and development. Your personnel-related courses provide insights into topics like digital HR, new work, personnel controlling and payroll, as well as empowerment-oriented employee retention. These competencies are complemented by soft skills in intercultural competence or Leadership 4.0. Furthermore, you will enhance your career profile through three economic specialisations in the areas of HR, marketing and methods, and business administration and industries. 

Electives: In Electives A, B and C, you choose two elective modules each. Elective D: Decide at the beginning of your studies between an internship at a company or all modules from Elective D. You complete the internship with a written reflection. If you choose the modules from Elective D, all modules from this elective must be completed. Mixed forms between the internship and Elective D are not possible.

Depending on your personal or professional situation, full-time study is not always easy to manage. That is why we have also developed part-time programmes for all our degrees, which offer flexible and longer study periods. This way, you can study alongside your job or during your time off, whether at home or abroad. The content of the different models is identical. Depending on the study model, we will adjust your tuition fees accordingly. With the part-time variants, your weekly study workload is reduced.

Can't finish your degree in the allotted time? No problem! We will develop the right study model for everyone. If you realise that you need more time, you can easily switch to another study model with three months’ notice before the end of the month. These are our different study models:
