Your dual study program Tourismusmanagement (B.A.)

Do you like travelling yourself and do you also enjoy planning holiday experiences for others? In the dual degree programme in Tourism Management, you will deal with topics such as current trends in tourism, digital business models and marketing. Sustainability and quality management are also on your curriculum. With this knowledge, you can develop creative and tailor-made travel offers - while keeping an eye on essential aspects such as the environment. After your studies, you will work, for example, at a tourism company, in the hotel industry, at event agencies or in destination management organisations.

Depending on where you study, you will study in one of our two study models: dual study or dual myStudium.

DEGREE, ACCREDITATION AND RECOGNITION

Degree: B.A.

System Accredited. IU is state-recognized and system-accredited by FIBAA. All degree programs are individually accredited and thus bear the seal of the Accreditation Council.

* Subject to state recognition of the degree programmes and approval of the Chemnitz branch by the Free State of Saxony. We expect the approvals of the ministries at the latest at the start of the studies. To date, all IU International University programmes have been successfully accredited and approved on time.

Our dual study program in tourism management offers intensive learning and practical experience to prepare you perfectly for responsible positions in the travel, hotel or event industry. As part of your studies, you will explore the most important players and business models, acquire valuable knowledge in intercultural and destination management, immerse yourself in applied research in tourism, improve your business English skills and lay a solid foundation in business administration.
