AMO is about automatic music orchestration with machine learning methods, with the following research questions:
How do professional orchestrators work?
What are the pain points in the current orchestration process?
Can we automatically learn to orchestrate in a specific style without human expert intervention? for example, can we automatically orchestrate the same piece in the style of Beethoven or in the style of Mozart?
What are the best machine learning methods for automatic orchestration?
